Community Advocate and Broadcaster Launches Campaign for Congress Focused on Working Families, Rural Investment, and Accountability

Lone Jack, MO - April 1, 2026 — Today, Randy Miller announced his candidacy for the U.S. House of Representatives in Missouri’s 4th Congressional District, pledging to bring commonsense leadership, accountability, and a renewed focus on working families to Washington.

A longtime broadcaster, community advocate, and supporter of military families, Miller is running as a Democrat committed to strengthening rural communities, lowering costs, and ensuring every Missourian has a fair shot.

“Missouri’s 4th District is full of hardworking people who deserve to be heard,” said Miller. “For too long, families here have felt overlooked while costs go up and opportunities feel out of reach. I’m running for Congress to change that — to stand up for our communities, invest in our future, and make sure government works for the people again.”

A Campaign Rooted in Missouri Values

Miller’s campaign will focus on:

  • Inflation and cost of living.

  • Healthcare needs in rural areas, especially among veterans.

  • Education and workforce development.

  • Agriculture and land use.

  • Standing Up for Veterans & Military Families

  • Where is the marijuana tax going?

A Voice for the District

Through his work in media and community outreach, Miller has spent years connecting with people across Missouri and amplifying their stories. His campaign aims to bring those voices directly to Congress.

“This campaign is about listening,” Miller added. “It’s about showing up in every corner of the district, from our small towns to our growing communities, and building solutions together.”
